Misfits In Paradise
This stick figure world isnt mapped or fully understood, even by myself.
I like seeing how far I can take a stick figure.
It expands one drawing at a time, changing shape whenever I do.
I’ve been tinkering with the Misfits projects for over a decade. The Misfits have survived different sketchbooks, different art styles, and different versions of me.
It’s still unfinished, and I think that’s why it keeps growing.
This is my longest running project, something I’ve picked up and put down countless times over the past 10 years.
They started as literal stick figures that I would doodle into my high school agenda, something that I actually still have to this day.
They weren't fully realized at the time, but the idea was there: tiny little characters interacting with the much larger world around them.
I slowly began adding my own fantasy creatures, building lore for this world, and making it feel like a place full of different cultures and history.
